Title: Northern New York site
Post by: KathMc on Friday 08 September 06 14:21 BST (UK)
Hi all. I am sorry if someone has already posted this link, but I just found it this morning. It is for families with links in northern New York and Canada, with an interest in the Canadian experience, or something like that. Unfortunately, my family falls a county below what they cover, but it could be useful to some. Good luck

Hi Kath,

Thanks for posting that link.  I have been trying to find someone to contact about my Uncle George Smith, who lived in Lewis, Essex county, and I found two people on that link. Very helpful.

Fred,

Glad to help. The nice thing about dealing with small population areas like this is that the people are only to happy to help, at no or very low cost. They aren't getting a lot of requests. Good luck with your research.

Hi Kath -

Thanks for posting this link. Took a quick peek and saw a couple of interesting news articles that may help in my research.
