does anyoneknow anything about the national school in stockport? my ancestor bradfoed jefferies was born there in 1854

Hello Sarah Jane,

The National School used to stand where Stockport Town Hall currently stands at the Junction of Wellington Road South and the main A6.

I think the Town Hall was built in 1893-ish  ;)
