Unless I'm looking at the wrong family then all the subsequent kids were b Aberdare, Glamorgan according to 1881. Can you now see why we ask to a full transcript of 'known' sightings?

arronroots.thank you for the look up on the 1871 census i do think it is my family as the age of john and where he came from, dont understand the ystrad bit but he was a carpenter and his wifes name and childs name and birth place is what i have and it does match except mary anns as she says in the 1891 census born in middlesex london?
regards jere. ;)

I think you might have to do a bit of detective work using the full BMD indexes, to see whether marriage(s) match, but it could just be that a mistake was made.
Some people never put the same place of birth twice!
Unless Maryann (1) died and a second one married John? did you say you have the birth cert of more than one child?
A ;)
