Any birth, marriage or death details on Frederick TREVAN or Albert Henry TREVAN.
I do have Frederick Albert Stanley TREVAN marriage in 1937 and am attempting to trace his father. His father is simply shown as Frederick and I have been informed that there were two or three Fredericks ???
I think they were in and around Moonta, Port Pirie and Whyalla.
Many thanks

There are a number of Treavan burials at Kadina Cemetery. Thomas Trevan. A short screed on that family can be seen by googling Trevan Kardina. Someone else is researching the Thomas T. side.
Thre is a Trevan Street in Whyalla too.

Thank you both for the info.
I have looked at the reference to Thomas Trevan and the Kadina cemetery. I am not fussed if I don't find Frederick Stanley Albert's father.
Today I spoke with a delightful Mr Trevan who said there are not many Trevans in SA and mentioned his uncle Fred and Auny Ella May at Whyalla. He actually read me the screed that is on the web for Thomas Trevan. He has offered to make further enquiries for me.
Once again thank you for your help.
Cheers

Thanks Jenn - noted. Will add to the 'tree'.
I spoke to Mr Trevan this evening and told him of the connection. He responded with 'I recall something about a Fred dying suddenly - he wasn't very old' Doesn't remember the wife Dorothy at all.
I would love to know if there had been any children. He has given me another contact who may have more info. Here's hoping :)
I am really only tracing the Peers family and this really is a bit off target. Still that's what family history is all about.
Cheers

Here is the marriage of Thelma Josephine Adelaide TREVAN, on the 24.11.1924 at Presbyterian Church Whyalla, to Stanley Samuel James PARKER, aged 25, son of Samuel James Parker. Bride was aged 21, father Frederick.
They had the 2 children that I could find,
Stanley Frederick James PARKER b. 17.8.1925 Pt Pirie
Dorothy Ella PARKER b. 14.8.1927 Pt Pirie
SA birth records finish at 1928 on disc.
There is also a Ida Caroline May TREVAN, married at the same place on the 10th August, 1920, aged 20, father Frederick. Her groom, James Roy Reynold or Randolph BILLING, aged 21, son of William Billing.
Found these children:-
Valma Merle BILLING b. 7.11.1920 at Whyalla
Roy Frederick BILLING b. 18.8.1922 at Whyalla
Hope that helps a little more - Sashar

Forgot - I checked for the birth of Ida Caroline May Trevan but couldn't find anything in SA. She should have been born c.1900. Sashar
