I am trying to find the marriages of Harriet Elizabeth Patts to a Mr Robinson (I think it would have been the early 1840s), and then her second marriage to a James Carveley (late 1850s) - both in Cambridge St Andrew the Less.

Harriet married William Robinson in 1847
Children
William Thomas (my great grandfather)
Susan Sarah
John William
George
William dies 1851 and Harriet marries James Carveley In 1858 and has daughter Amelia who married a William Warner (believe William Thomas was witness at her marriage)
Hope this helps
Can you add more that may help me further?

Hello Martin - Harriet was my great great grandmother, Amelia my great grandmother.
As you can see from the date, its been 6 years since I started this thread and I haven't been doing any research recently so am a bit rusty!
I will pull out my folder and try to answer any questions you might have.

Hi
Am Looking for info on
Harriets 1st husband William and his family ???
William Thomas family. He married Esther butler and then Alice Arthurs. My grandad Thomas Arthur comes from 2nd marriage.
Believe my William T was witness at your Amelia's wedding but cannot remember/ find info again. Suspect got from friendly lady at Cambridge archives..

I didn't trace the Robinson line back. I do have the 1871 census which lists William (Blacksmith)and Esther living in what looks like Richard Street, Aston, Birmingham with their daughter Sarah aged 2, brother George and nephew Samuel aged 7.
Have you ever looked up information on St Andrew the Less, Cambridge? It sounds like it was an absolutely awful area.
Amelia eventually ended up in Aston, Birmingham too when she married.
Good luck with your research. It can get very confusing!

Hi again
FYI
On ancestry.co.uk there is a private tree called Begley Family Tree - 09.03.2012 where they have
Harriett > Amelia > Children from Amelias marriage to William Warner and subsequent children from William W Warner
You may know exactly who these people are but in hope of helping I thought I'd let you know
