Still researching this family and I would be interested to hear from anyone with these names in their family tree.

James Bell Dow b. 13 Oct 1815 (married Agnes Josephs on 25 Feb 1834 in Port Glasgow)
John Thomson Dow b. 09 May 1817
Lawrence Skeen Dow b. 20 Sep 1819 (married Rebecca Turnbull on 1 Jun 1840 in North Leith, Midlothian)
Peter Philip Dow b. 30 Apr 1821
Colin Skeen Dow b. 30 Dec 1823
Colin Skeen Taylor Dow b. 02 Dec 1824
Johan_ Thomson Dow b. 31 Dec 1826
Robert Ramsay Dow b. 30 Mar 1828
Jean Philip Dow b. 11 JUN 1830
George Cameron Dow  b. 27 Jul 1832
William Skeen Dow b. 10 Jul 1833
John Colin Dow b. 25 Oct 1835
Cicilia Purdie Dow b. 03 Jun 1838

all born in North Leith, Midlothian,  to parents James Bell Dow and Jean Skean, who were married on 21 Sep 1814 in Saint Cuthberts, Edinburgh, Midlothian.

I am still hoping that someone out there has any of these names in their tree. After 5 years of research, I still have no contact with anyone researching Dow. I have a fair bit of information, which I am willing to share.
