Hi everyone,
Some time ago I was searching for my Grandfather John Wilkinson Barker's arrival in Australia. No luck with that one so far, but I have found a John Wilkinson Barker born 6 Apr 1886, Maryborough, father William, mother Margaret Quirk.
It seems like too much of a coincidence to have two John Wilkinson Barkers in Queensland so could some kind person look up the following please:
Marriage: William Barker/Margaret Quirk, around 1878, probably Maryborough.
There were children born between 1878 and 1888 including John Wilkinson Barker, so the names of those would help too, if possible.
It could be an earlier marriage of my Grandfather, or even a relative who called his son after my Grandfather.
Hope someone can help.
Cheers, DelB

Thanks Jenn,
Are there any deaths for William and Margaret Barker?
I know when my Grandfather died (1931 in Townsville) so if I know when William died I can perhaps place him as a relative.
Many thanks,
DelB
