looking for Harry/Henry HARRISON, who was married with 2 daughters somewhere in Kent. After the wife died??, he went to S.Africa as a digger (on mines?)(possibly to the goldfields at Pilgrims Rest about 1890??). The 2 girls either accompanied him or joined him later. He married a young german, Maria Dorothea? KLASSEN/ CLASSEN (possibly the nursemaid) and had 4 sons and 2 daughters from about 1901 to 1917. The eldest fought in WW1. Names which may be family names are Sam (Frederik Johannes), Elizabeth, Mable, Louis, Isaac and my f-in-law also Harry Henry.
HHH Snr died in PE about 1917, so H Jnr did not know his father. Maria died in PE in 1956. (KAB archives have estate papers which I will try to get copied/transcribed/photo'd) (KAB, MOOC, LEER, VOL 6/9/23898, SYS 01, REF 164/56 PART 1
DESCR: HARRISON, MARIA DOROTHY. NEE CLASSEN. ESTATE PAPERS. 1956--1956 )
I have tried research in Kent, UK, but don't have enough info to make a start. Don't know DOB, DOM, wife or daughters' names or place names.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks, Eric-C
