Title: Can I Gain Access To Layston Churchyard?

I have offered to look for a couple of gravestones in Layston Churchyard for a fellow Rootschattter. I know however that it was recently vandalised and was wondering if anyone who lives locally knows if I would be able to gain access to the churchyard.

The churchyard has had all the gravestones moved many years ago - take a look at www.layston-church.org.uk - which may help! You can always contact them via email - sure they'd be willing to help if they can  ;)

Thanks for that Honey Bee. I did visit and I believe it has now been sold and is being re developed.
