Does anyone have resources to check out this marriage.

It is thought they are parents of EDWARD and JOSEPH YATES of BLACKBURN, Lancashire... Thelma in Australia.

I have checked this marriage on http://www.lan-opc.org.uk for Blackburn St Mary and found the same information as you.
11.th May 1797 at St. Mary Blackburn
Robert Yates (x) to Mary Fish (x) all the information is exactly the same.
You may find the baptisms of Edward and Joseph on the same site. Good Luck Matty :)

Dear Matty, Thank you very kindly for checking that out for me, although I have looked further into the FISH surname for Mary. At that same time there were quite a number of Robert YATES who married Mary and FISH was only one of about 7-8. When I looked for the two sons Edward and Joseph, I was unable to link them to Robert and Mary (nee Fish). So, Mary was probably one of the other ladies.
It is definitely Robert and Mary YATES, but the Mary has to be confirmed... yet !!! I am grateful for your interest and help... Enjoy your day... Thelma
