Hmmm if this is his Birth entry - he was crackin on a bit by the late 1800s ..

John and Mary were married and in Walcot, somerset in 1841 ... no kids .. at 4, Camden Row, Landsdown, Walcot .... he was already a Drapers Assistant - neither were Born in County (as we know from the 1851)

In 1871, John B is in London ... confusing entry as he isnt shown as HEAD, but it is a unique Schedule # and street address

Re: the will of Sir John Edward Arthur Murray Scott, 1st Baronet.  It had been witnessed by Mr John B. Carrington, goldsmith, of 126 Regent-Street, London.

1881 - John B Carrington (Silversmith) is alone in his part of the house, but 'sharing' is a William Smith - also a Silversmith - from Brum.
