Hi
FOUND THE GRAVE I WAS LOOKING FOR, DID IT MYSELF AND HAD A NICE DAY OUT!
HIS PHOTO IS ON RESTORATION PAGES.
I WAS looking for an MI please of Robert Roberts who was a clochydd or bellringer for the church in Maentwrog. he was a joiner and possibly a boat builder at some time worked on boats in Portmadoc Harbour.
He IS buried in Maentwrog Churchyard St. Twrog. I used MI book M222 by Gwynedd FHS and eliminated the 16 Robert Roberts down to three then went to look at these three graves, one of them 'Saer' which means joiner/carpenter in Welsh. He was buried with his second wife Rebecca formerly Jones by marriage. The grave next to this contained his first wife Elizabeth and their son Samuel.
thanks
Gareth

Further:-
Just for clarification he actually had THREE wives, Ellen Williams, then Elizabeth Ellis and thirdly Rebecca Jones.
Ellen is buried Holy Trinity, Penrhyndeudraeth.
Elizabeth is buried in St Twrog, Maentwrog with their son Samuel age 8.
Rebecca and her son Joseph Jones are buried in the next grave to Elizabeth and Samuel.
Robert Roberts died 1913 and is buried with Rebecca who died 1915.
Elizabeth Rowlands married a previous chap with surname Ellis. Who was he?
Now related to at least 12 graves in St Twrog.
