Widdowson family at Warwick Street Hulme in 1881 - Emily Sophia Francis (37 yrs in 1881) may have got married in Notts (not sure about her husband yet) as her son William J G (18 yrs in 1881) is shown as being born there about 1863. The younger sons Arthur C. (14 yrs in 1881) Francis H. (8 yrs in 1881) are shown as being born in Manchester.
All the other references fit - thanks for clarifying where they married.

Hi Knellie,
Are you still researching this family? I have a family connection and lots of info.
Emily/Adelaide/Jane/Charles were children of Miss Elizabeth Sophia Grey, of a Nottinghamshire gentry family (at Ruddington House), who eloped with her teenage manservant William Henson, and her Aunt Jane (who had all the money) initially cut Elizabeth out of her will for marrying beneath her!
Let me know if you want more of the story!
Regards,
Jim W.
