Title: Hollington AULT's

Hi Listers

I'm looking for any info around my 4x GG William AULT born 1796 in Hollington DBY  he married a 'Mary' about 1820 .... his first 4 children are shown as born in Hollington so I'm summising he married around there too ...but just where I'm not sure ...any help would be most appreciated.

 What Census you have William & Mary Ault
 Do you know the parents of William Ault B abt 1796

sp: Mary  (b.Abt 1800) possibly Mary Ann STACEY

I have William and Mary on the 41 living in Sutton Macclesfield CHS

I don't know who Williams parents were ...but I would hazard a guess at John AULT

Hi Allan,

I thought I may have found the parents of William buried at Brailsford, Derbyshire
a few miles from Hollington however after searching their marriage and children
they are not the parents, I am going to give you the information just in case:-

This is a Thomas born abt 1772 and a Rachel Born abt 1777 think they married
1799 Marston Upon Dove, Rachel's maiden name Capewell.

The only William Ault I can see is bpt. 2.9.1796, Doveridge, Derbys with a sister
Martha 29.6.1800, the children of Thomas & Elizabeth.

contains some Phillimore Transcripts of Parish Registers, there are a number of
Aults in Brailsford some of the other villiages also have Ault marriages, I have
looked for a suitable marriage without success, however if you have the time
to study the various transcripts you may come up with something.

Doveridge as come up before and I've no doubt their is a connection further back ... I'll keep looking in the vicinity ...once again thanks for the trouble.
