Hi Libby, Do you think Selina and Helena are the same person. My mother named my sister Helena after her mother, so I know that is her name. I do not know any further info on her , other than she married David Dixon in 1898/1900 Thanks Judy W

Hi,
Are you sure of Lena/Helena`s age? There is this entry on the 1891 census for Radcliffe - only a few miles from Manchester and I can`t find any of the family on the 1901 census.
2 Jones Street, Radcliffe
Benjamin W Parker, H, M, 32, Insurance Agent, Shropshire
Sarah J, Wife, M, 33, Shropshire
LENA, Daur, 9, Scholar, Radcliffe
Annie, Daur 7, Scholar, Radcliffe
Wilson, Son, 6, Scholar, Radcliffe
Alfred, Son, 3, Radcliffe.
Regards,
Maureen

Helena/Selina said with an accent??? MMmmmm strong possibility I think. If the enumerator wrote it quickly the spelling error could occur there, although the actual 1891 census is definately Selina
I think the 1881 I found and 1891 heywood found do match.
Your call :)
