Title: Bate family Tywardreath
Post by: jean Sandra on Sunday 31 October 04 20:44 GMT (UK)
Hi,

is there a very kind person out there with information about a Bate family liviong in Tywardreath Cornwall?

I am interested in a Walter and Elizabeth Bate who were possibly married about 1790-1794.

Amongst their children was a Betsey Bates christened in 1798.

I would love to find out more about the Bate family from Tywardreath.

Regards

Jean Sandra

Hi Jean Sandra

My name is Sonia Anne Patricia Bate from Toronto, Ontario Canada.  My great great grandfather was Sir Henry Newell Bate from Trennick House, Truro, Cornwall. His father was Henry Bate. And his father was Sir William Bate, Trennick House, Truro, Cornwall.  I have in my possession a large BATE of Trennick House family tree with commences in the 1700's with the entrance of Elizabeth Thornton who married Sir William Bate.  There are
many families enscribed.  I am working from my office this evening and am new to the RootsChat.com system.  I have our family tree at home.  If you feel that I can help you please get back to me.  My code name is sbate.

Bye for now, Sonia.
