I think the 2nd word is short for compositor. Thats what they called someone in the printing trade who arranged the letters ready for printing.

I am sure it reads Printers App. (Apprentice) and the last word is the abbreviated form of Compositor the guy who put the type into a block or set prior to printing.

Definitely as everyone says!   What I want to know is which company - I have loads of printers/compositors/stationers/booksellers - all in Leeds?
