There is only one Samuel SIMKIN on the IGI christened in Birmingham:

29 Dec 1800, St Phillips, Birmingham

Parents David and Elizabeth.

Cannot help you with the parents of Samuel, but as a direct descendant of Richard and Mary (nee Willson) Brotherton I would love to find out more about them and their children, which would include Samuel's wife. I am descended from Sarah's brother Richard, who emigrated to Australia. Any information appreciated.
