Hi, I am researching the BRADLEY family of Shipston on Stour but have some info on the Birmingham Bradleys.

1841 Census
Richard BRADLEY 40 Journeyman Jeweller of Gt. Bow St.
Samuel BRADLEY 40 Glass Toy Maker of Beak St, Birmingham.

1867 Birmingham Directory
henry BRADLEY, Silversmith 12 1/2 Branston St.
John BRADLEY, Lapidary, 16 Gt. Hampton St.

Hope this helps

Hi,

I've just discovered I have some Bradleys in my direct line - some born in Shipston on Stour, later living in Birmingham - although these are  later in date than you were looking for.

I have a George Bradley born c 1826, (possible Leamington) married a Sarah Plumb( born  c 1826 in Shipston) married in S-O-S 1847, first child born in Birmingham c 1847/1848 - George, then Ellen, Fanny / Jane, Clara, Amelia and Walter born 1849 - 1857 in S-O-S.

George senior was a tailor - 1851 in S-O-S then 1861 & 1871 the family are in Birmingham - any of these ring a bell with anyone? Only just starting on this line  - literally this week! - so any info gratefully received!
