 An alphabetical list of soldiers from Co. Kildare killed or wounded in WW1  (http://www.esatclear.ie/~curragh/casualty.htm)
The list of names in the above link is far from complete, but offers a valuable insight into the involvement of Irish soldiers, especially those from Co. Kildare, in the Great War. Thousands of these soldiers were killed or wounded far from their loved ones and homes in the county. The Web Site is in their memory and all the suffering that
they endured.
