Title: church burial ground in Blackburn?

I've been looking for the burial location of some of my ancestors from Blackburn. CEMSEARCH didnt find them in the local cemetarys, I'm wondering if there in a church cemetary? The date of death is Jan. 19, 1936.
The name is Elizabeth Watt, she lived at 173 Downham st. and as far as I know she  belonged to the C of E. Does anyone know of the closest church cemetary to this address?

Downham Street is in the Wensley Fold area of Blackburn
and is a built up area.
Lots of terraced houses so I have not sure of the nearest
graveyard.

Blackburn Cemetary is located on Whalley New Road, which
is the Road from Blackburn to Whalley.
I will try to locate the nearest churches in the area.

 Someone checked Blackburn cemetery for me, with no luck
 
 Do you know if a church plot would have to be bough or if you where a member of the church you had the right to be buried there?

Church plots had to be bought.

Thats why pauper graves existed they were cheaper.

People were/are not necessarily buried in the same
borough as the one they lived in i.e. Family Graves.

Though husband and wife are usually buried in the same
grave this does not automatically happen.

My Great-Great  Grandfathers second wife was actually buried with her first husband.

Pleasington Cemetery is now the main burial ground for Blackburn, with the Whalley New Road-based cemetery closing down for new burials at some time in the 1st half of the 19th century.

Unfortunately, I do not know how to obtain records for the Pleasington Cemetery ???

The local Church to Wensley Fold is St Barnabas C of E
but this does not have a graveyard.
The may have used it for other family celebrations though.
