Good evening
I am looking for any descendants or relatives of John Guerin/ Gerrin of Ballykinnacorra North, Corofin Co Clare Ireland as listed in the 1855 Griffiths Evaluation. Any contacts or direction would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Guerin

Hi John
I am a descendant of the Guerin's; not sure where they're from, but the name of Corofin, Clare has come up. My ancestor is Michael Guerin bc 1810 who emigrated to Australia with his wife and infant daughter Bridget in 1840.
Have you done any DNA testing? This would be a quick way to tell if we're related.
Mine is on both familytreedna and getmatch, as well as my trees back to Michael Guerin.
Cheers,
Scharyn.

Hi John
I suggest that you check out the Rath/Killinaboy transcribed baptism register at
http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/genealogy/don_tran/bmd/baptism_records_rath_killinaboy_1819-1881.htm
I found the following baptisms for Joannes(John) Geran and Margarita Flanagan
John 1832
Brigid 1833
Joseph 1839
Michael 1840
Be sure to check various spellings and compare transcriptions to original microfilm entries.
