It's a pleasure Chrissy, she is very sweet looking, dressed up for a day out. You are right she is like one of those china dolls.
Cheers Sue

She really is a little darling. I get the impression she is being very patient with whoever is taking the picture and she just wants to get back to whatever game she was playing, as it was very important. She kind of has that kind of "for heavens sake, how much longer?" look on her face!

Dear lones ;D
What a lovely picture of Mabel.I think she looks a little bit tired :) My guess is that she was probably about 3 or 4? And when she grew up ,she was a very stylish woman ,even in her later years.
Miss Mabel Ruby Morehouse.

Many thanks for your beautiful efforts......... :)

Thanks Chrissy
The O'Brien wasn't a woman convict from Ireland was she, if so, that's the one I'm looking for!!!!!
I notice your locations are rather extreme in there distances, Perth to Ballarat. You really do do some travelling!! I hail from Bendigo myself
I am glad you liked my colouring of Mabel, I really enjoyed working on such a lovely little miss and am glad to hear she had a long life, hope it was happy with her O'Brien.
Regards
Lones

Hi there,
Lovely photo. Is there a connection with Charles and Mary who came from England in 1855 (to Geelong) and settled in Cobram. They had a son Nathaniel who is my ggrandfather.
-
Hi Chrissy........I have done two versions of your lovely photo you must be proud of.
Carolyn :)
Ps....I have reposted as I had missed little Mabels handbag.
