Title: Cliff Fever Hospital, Garforth
Post by: Silas on Thursday 27 July 06 21:53 BST (UK)
Hi there.  I have an ancestor named Nellie Goodall, aged 6 years who, on the 1901 census was a patient in the above hospital.  Does anyone know about this hospital in West Yorks and if I can find out anything about it and if there are any records on-line please?

Hi Silas, I happened to be looking for The hospital at The Cliff, Garforth, when I came across your many requests for help! It's been a while, so you may have already resolved your query but if not, I found the site on the NLS maps site.

On today's map the site now houses a park-homes site called Cliff Top Park, just near the Garforth Garden Centre.

I snipped the old map and will add to my tree, but unfortunately I can't add it here.
Hopefully this link will work

Hello Sandra, as you say this post is quite old. Unfortunately Silas has not been online here since 2014, but if she still has the same email address she will receive notification of your post.  :)

Also, in case you are interested, if you want to link a certain view on a nls map, click on "link to this view" on the blue tab at the bottom of the map, and then you can paste in the url eg:

(I learnt this on RootsChat a while ago - very helpful people here!)
