On 1901 census is
Albert and Annie Gough and their 3mth old daughter Agnes living at ;
46,George St.,Pontnewydd,Abersychan.
I know that Annie died about 3 months later and Albert married again in 1902 and had more children in this area.
Is anyone researching this family? Does anyone know what happened to Agnes?
Would love to find out ,as Annie was the child of my g.grandfathers first marriage. She was raised with my Nan but no one seems to know about her child. ???
Any help appreciated.Carol :)

Pontnewydd is in Cwmbran about 5 miles from Abersychan, Pontypool. The right name is Pontnewynydd.

I lived in West Pontnewydd when I was first married, it is south of Pontypool in what was then known as Cwmbran New Town, it is next to the old village of Pontnewydd. Pontnewynydd is north of Pontypool near Trevethin, they are two different places, Rowley ;)

Is she with her father and step mum on 1911 census? That would surely be the way to see if she is with them in childhood.
Sorry we are not allowed to do look ups.
