Looking for information about my great-grandmother Elizabeth Fagan, born in Dublin 1864/65. She eloped with Joseph Riggs, who was in the Hussars in the early 1880s. They married on 8th February (Joseph was also born and died on that date, hence it has been remembered in the family!) and moved to England.
I've not been getting very far tracing any of her Dublin family, but I do know that her niece, Kay Fagan was matron at the National Children's Hospital in Dublin around the 1930s/1940s, and possibly this might be a better route to follow. Any help/suggestions welcome!
Thanks

Hello John,
There were quite a number of people with the Fagan surname in Dublin at the time Griffith's Valuations (http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php) were taken there in 1848-51. If you try to find more information about her niece Kay then you'll need to discover
when she was born and the name of her parents. I'm not certain where you should start looking for records
of people who worked at the Children's Hospital in the 1930s to 1940s or what details they may contain.
