Title: William Hamilton 1904

My sister-in-law is quite convinced that her father William Hamilton was born abt 1904 somewhere on Guernsey.
From his marriage certificate the age is about right, his father was Frederick Hamilton.
Her father never talked about his family so we have no informaton on his mother.
Any help will be gratefully received

Hi Daff

According to an index of the 1901 Channel Islands Census, there were a number of Hamiltons on Guernsey at the time, but I can't see a Frederick.  Might be an idea to get a copy of William's birth certificate for more info.

I'll have to write and ask for a search I think as I don't know for sure where or when he was born.
