Title: East Harptree, Gabriel Carpenter
Post by: carolinelise on Wednesday 19 July 06 23:48 BST (UK)
Would anyone please be able to look at the East Harptree registers and find out anything about Gabriel Carpenter. His son (my friends relly) Gabriel Junior ,we believe was born in the december quarter of 1841. I believe Gabriel was buried 20/3/1841 aged 24.
Any help would be appreciated my friend is in Australia and unable to visit parishes here.
Many thanks
Caroline

He had the following children:

M    i    Jesse CARPENTER was born about 1875. He died 1 on 6 Feb 1890 in Cooke's Meadow Vein, Cwmnantddu Colliery (Llanerch) Rhondda.

Hi,

just a word of caution about myforefathers - in this case, this is someone else's tree published on the internet and you need to verify any info taken from it. I recognised the names because the tree belongs to a distant ( but unknown) relative.  I have found (slight) errors in some info on it, so please do check for yourself. The 2 deaths referred to are in a mining accident which will be referred to on other websites - plenty of them covering mining and mining disasters and there will be links on rootschat.
