Well done sidsmith  :D

Robert I was just taking a look at your website. I see Elizabeth died in Waikerie in 1911. This means that her death cert will list a couple of things you don't know such as Birthplace, length of time in the commonweath and her age at marriage. It may help you pin some of this down. Looks like with a birth in Waikerie to John and Fanny in 1913 mother may have been living with them at the time of her death
The Cert can be ordered from
http://www.ocba.sa.gov.au/bdm/links.html

Cheers Kris  :D

hello there

kris  i must admit i agree totally with you on this  death

I had given  bob this death  he had pm"d for some lookup and help  which I am allways happy to help  but if it is done in a personal message no one else knows you  have allready done it and therefore it can create duplicate  lookups for others   I think that if it is in an open forum situation then everyone can read the information and then they can add to it  just as Kris has done here with the Bannear connection  I am not trying to be nasty or pedantic   just stating how I see it

I did tell bob that if he gets the certificate he should get quite a bit of info on a certificate from 1911 as per Shankos post about whats on certificate (that is very helpful)

Sometime rootschatters can only supply so much info but a certificate should give you answers
.

sometime there is a limit to what everyone can find for others and we all do appreciate what people are willing to do  however a certificate often has excatly what you needed

Helo there

JOHN JAMES BANNEAR   WAS BORN 1868 in strathablyn

parents CHARLES BANNEAR   and mother MARY RICHENS

there were no other children on the index for them

Mary died in 1873  and he  charles remarried in 1874

to ANN/ANNIE LEHMANN

on this marriage it gives his fathers name as JOHANN BANNEAR  he was aged 29  so that put his birth about 1846

this couple had nine children so  one of these if Krisses relation  if you want their names and dates of births i will pop them up

Naa site shows A service history is available for Lawrence White.
His NOK is Irene and the enlistment was for ww2.  As he was born in 1893, he was not the youngest soldier in the war!
It may be informative to order a copy if possible because it will tell you their address and even children if still dependant.
