Title: Pringle/Coulson/Henderson/Rodgers
Post by: B1 on Thursday 29 June 06 21:53 BST (UK)
I just spent a week in England and was able to take digital pictures of old family member pictures.  The originals are still with DH's uncle, but I was pleased he allowed me to photograph them.

I have photos of a Matthew Henderson married to a Margaret Coulson and I have photos of a Charlie Henderson and a Hattie? Henderson.  The back of the photos say cousins in my DH's grandmother's writing.  Dora's mother is Sarah Annie Coulson who married James Pringle in 1891.

I have some Rodgers photos as well as James Pringle had a daughter Agnes, that married a William Rodgers in 1882.  Probably in Scotland..near Edinburgh.

The names are familiar to me, but I don't have them in my database.  I thought I had.  The Coulsons lived in the Northumberland area, which I was privledged to drive through last week.  Dora Pringle was born in Gateshead and Whitley Bay and surrounding areas were family vacation spots.

I will happily share the photographs I took if you are part of these lines or can better identify names for me.

The pictures I have are dated about 1914.  I am thinking the other picture that lists Charlie as a cousin is her brother.  I don't know where the Hendersons lived.

My geography of Northumberland isn't the greatest so I don't think I drove through Amble.  We were on the North Sea coast most of the time.
