Title: KENNINGTON MILL KENNINGTON KENT
Post by: yonder on Saturday 24 June 06 22:39 BST (UK)
Has anyone any knowledge of Kennington Mill kennington?
on the 1841 Census, my GGGGrandfather WILIAM DOWN, was listed as a Miller employed by Thomas Young.

I believe it is now owned by a W. J. Jennings, of Kennington hall,
Any information about the mill would be appreciated, many Thanks  Yonder.

Thanks Bryan, Do you think it's feasible that there could be old records about the working of the Mill?
1861 My GGGGrandfather William Down was listed as a Miller Foreman.
I wondered if W.J.jennings would have inherited any documents that might have existed.
