Title: Cock street. Lathom
Post by: Willow5 on Saturday 24 June 06 16:16 BST (UK)
Hi all.
Does anybody happen to know where Cock Street in Lathom used to be? I have looked at Old Maps but can't see it. My family - Websters are down on the 1841 census as living at Cock Houses & on later censuses at Cock Street.
thanks

Going off the 81 census I would think it to have been in the Plough Lane/Cobb Brow area.

Thanks for that Dotty. Its narrowed it down a bit for me. I've found Plough Lane on the old maps.

Hi Frank.
Thanks very much for that information. I've got a better idea where it is now.
