Hi Aaron
QUICK! Go here!!! :D
http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/familyHistory/search.htm.
You will recognise an entry for a death if you know his parents names?

Also go here and Record Search (as a guest)  on his name:
http://www.naa.gov.au/

http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/archives/immigration_and_shipping_indexes_4645.asp

Post a quick reply on what you find out - it will better dentify your line (for people trawling for the name at some other date maybe.

If you don't find what you are looking for you will need to reply with details like:
Where he was born?
His parent's names?
Have you found him on the 1901 Census (I assume UK)?

Cheers
AMBLY

Hi Ambly

This could be Albert Tonks, age 30, arriving Dec 1915 on the Wimmera II.

You can find it on the Unassisted Immigration into Victoria, passengers who travelled on to the eastern states can still be found on these indexes.
