Title: 1879 Marriage-Stoke on Trent

if anyone is visiting Stoke on Trent records office could they please check the marriage of Thomas Jackson/Annie Trow 6b 289 Stoke ref: 36/3/133 and give me the names and occupations of parents. Thanks for any help.

It may help people to know that the marriage took place at St Lukes, which is in Hanley.

I may be going to the archives next week if no-one helps you before then.

1st June 1879, St Lukes in the parish of Wellington

Thomas Jackson - 24 -Bachelor - Bricklayer - of Wellington - father Thomas Jackson, Potter
Annie Trow - 2 - Spinster - of Wellington - father Richard Trow, Bricklayer

Witnessed by Edward Levi Bickerston and Jane Trow.

Bride, groom and Jane signed the register, Edward made his mark.

Thanks Sam, that's great, thought I was on the wrong track as the Thomas Jackson who I thought was the father was a shoemaker and gut feeling told me that wasn't right. I can start tracing Thomas(Potter) now. Thanks again for your help.
