Can anyone help with who was living at what I believe to be 43 and 41 Ringcroft Street in Islington? I have ancestors who married in May 1902 who give these addresses and as they married at St. Mary Magdalene in Islington, I am hoping the addresses are also in Islington. Street name is difficult to read, but I think it's Ringcroft Streeton the marriage certificate. I'm hoping this may throw up the names of either Pamflett or Goodman.
Any help gratefully received

Hi Jacki
Can anyone help with who was living at what I believe to be 43 and 41 Ringcroft Street in Islington? Street name is difficult to read, but I think it's Ringcroft Street on the marriage certificate. I'm hoping this may throw up the names of either Pamflett or Goodman.
Just checked the 1891 census on line and found there are 205 Goodmans living in Islington, London – but there are No Pamflett families at all.
To make things a bit easier, do you have a christain name for any of these Chapmans in Ringcroft Street, Islington - otherwise I will have to start trawling through the cd collection for Islington.

Hi Chris
Thanks for looking. I think I've actually found the Goodmans on the 1901 census - father Robert, wife Jane and daughter Jessie at either 41 or 43 Ringcroft St (can't remember which off-hand). Jessie Goodman married George Basil Pamflett in May 1902, and I now suspect that he gave the address next door to the Goodmans as an "accommodation" address. At the time of the marriage, it seems that George Basil Pamflett had been spelling his name wrong all his life (i.e. as Pamphlett). I believe he is likely to be the Basil Pamphlett who appears in the 1881 census at the Strand Union Childrens Establishment in Edmonton along with brother Charles and sister Louisa. I just wonder where they all were in 1891 and hoped I might have found one of them in Ringcroft Street.
Many thanks for your help

Hi again Jacki
"I just wonder where they all were in 1891 and hoped I might have found one of them in Ringcroft Street."
Just scrolled through the whole of Ringcroft Street in Islington, London on the 1891 Census CD - Terribly splodgy writing
RG12 / 0152/ Folios 26 – 34; Ringcroft Street, Islington
At No 41 are Parkes and Tuck families (8 persons)
At No 42 are the Romary? Family (6 persons)
At No 43 are Paris, Rush Cop**ll and Jackson families (9 persons)
All houses are in Multi Occupation.
Then checked all 48 houses on the street and there were no Goodmans or Pamplett families on there.
Sorry
