I hope you do not mind my posting here but I have just started a project people here might be interested in about Ardchattan parish
We live here in Benderloch and have a keen interest in our own farm and our own genealogy which extends around the country beyond the parish.
We are also interested in lots of other aspects of the parish but find we collect snippets of information and knowledge without any cohesion
I have created www.benderloch.org.uk/forum.html (http://www.benderloch.org.uk/forum.html) for us and anyone else to add their bits of information and questions and comments about life and the people of the parish from Early man to the present.
I understand you have ancestors here, it would be really nice if others could join in and that this might be useful to you over time.
Its very much in its infancy but the more input there is the quicker it will grow.
Please let me know what you think of the concept and the project. If you think it has merit please share it with anyone you care.
I look forward to hearing from you.
