Hi everyone
Does anyone know the exact whereabouts of this graveyard and is it attached to an existing church?
Does anyone know who I would need to contact to find out who is buried in a certain plot ?

Thank you for that help. Do you think the book would contain the names of people in un-marked graves ?

possibly is there any way to contact them??

Yes - My wife's grandmother is buried there. It is just off the road - was quite neat and tidey when we there last year. There is not church attached as there are no new burials I believe, but Glenbrien is probably the nearest.
Let me know if you need a picture of a map where it is.

Kilmallock Grave Yard.
This is the old grave yard of the half parish of Ballymurn and is less than a mile from Ballymurn Village.
Kilmallock's headstones date back to the eighteenth century.
The parish opened a new grave yard in 1975 which is a half a mile on the otherside of the village
There are fewer and fewer burials taking place as a result.
The grave yard is very well maintained and its annual pattron day is the Sunday closest to 15th Aug.
If you want more info on Ballymurn look up Crossabeg Ballymurn .com
The names on the old headstone's still dominate the names of the area to this day
Ballymurn is a half parish of Crossabeg
