Hi my Smyth's were from Glendermott and moved to the Waterside.
Archibald Smyth born around 1810 married Mary UNKNOWN. They were Catholic so I think maybe Archibald ancestors were Protestant.
I know of six children:
Mary, Susan, Margaret, Anne, Samuel and Elizabeth
Mary married William Gorman
Susan married George Scott
Margaret married tHomas Ball
Anne(my gggrandmother) married John Doran
Samuel married Margaret Doran
Elizabeth married Hugh Doran
Is there a connection?
Thanks
Oisín

Hello all Smyth researchers :D
I too am seeking these folks, particularly Catherine SMYTH nee ADAMS who married Archibald at 1st Presbyterian Church Glendermott Londonderry on 22 Aug 1850. Catherine was the sister of my Gr-Gr-Gram. Margaret and were the daughters of David ADAMS Jr. & Catherine DUNN.
Archibald & Catherine had children, Archibald, Alexander, William ( a minister?) and Catherine.
Archibald Sr. was of Clampernow and d 1 Feb 1877. Other surnames connected with this family are McCORKELL, MITCHELL & LOVE. I look forward to hearing from anyone.
Thanks so much
