Post by: Jan Taylor on Saturday 23 October 04 02:13 BST (UK)
LUTAS and KELSALL

If anyone could help me please:

My great-grandmother Phoebe Lutas (nee Roberts), born 1870ish, her husband John Thomas Lutas, born 1868.  Last known address 38 Bell Road, Wallasey.  Can't locate their registered births.

George Kelsall, sons Harold (my grandfather, born 1898) George and William of 25 Bulkeley Street in Stockport.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Jan

Hi
The births you require can be found on this site you can also purchace certificates from them

http://www.cheshirebmd.org.uk/

Cheshire Birth indexes for the years: 1864
Surname Forename(s) Sub-District Registers At Reference
ROBERTS Phoebe Birkenhead Wirral BIR/58/88

Cheshire Birth indexes for the years: 1867
Surname Forename(s) Sub-District Registers At Reference
LUTAS John Thomas Wallasey Wirral WAL/19/26

If born in Cheshire your Kelsall 's should be found there also.
Once you have the certificates we may be able to help with census details if required.

regards

Hi Jan,

Not sure if this is going to get anywhere as you last posted on this thread 5 years ago!

Harold Kelsall sister, Eliza Kelsall is my great grandmother. I've been trying to piece together this Manchester branch of my family for the past year with some success and some complete brick walls - seems like a rather large family falling out.....

I would have PM'd you but the site isn't letting me do it for some reason. Don't use it very often.

If you do get this message please PM me!

Cheers. :-)

Yes, it worked, sent her a PM. Fingers crossed on a reply. I've been wading through mud on the Kelsall side of things and hopefully this maybe of use.

Thanks for the tip!
