born circa 1813 in Ayrshire. On the boat manifest it looks like Dalry, or Dalby. He married Janet Henderson (maybe called Jessie) in Paisley Renfrewshire, had kids then emigrated to Australia on the Beejapore in 1853.

james griffin married janet henderson, 1/2/1833 in paisley, cannot find them on the 1841 census.

william giffen (son of alexander & janet dale, born 1775) married mary arnot in dundonald on the 9/12/1803.
