Title: MATCHETT Completed
Post by: queenswood 1 on Monday 29 May 06 17:31 BST (UK)
Is anyone else researching this name in England please?
Possibly in the Castle Donnington area or much further afield in England.
Thank you
Caroline

Hello Caroline
I have recently discovered that my Husband's GGGGGGrandfather was Lincoln Matchett and in 1772 he was the miller at Ellingham Mill in Norfolk.  Other than that and that he had 3 daughters all born in Norfok we know nothing about him. Is this a Matchett that you have come across in your research?
Regards
Tina

Goodness me - I had forgotten all about this request. As far as I know, I have no connections in Norfolk at this stage but will open link again should something come to light.

Thank you for replying!
