Can anyone help me with a look-up on this one please.
I am trying to locate the marriage of John Swindells to Goody Froggatt. The marriage took plce in Hathersage, Derbyshire, on 3rd May 1803.
If anyone is able to find anything on this couple I would be very grateful. Many thanks.

i found a christening on the IGI : 15 JUL 1866 Hathersage, Derby, England John Swindell parents Francis & Mellicent -could this be your man?

Many thanks for that, but I do't think it can be the same John Swindells as mine (although it might be the same fmily further down the line).
My john was married in 1803, so I expect he would have been born somewhere around 1875 or so. What I REALLY need is to try and get hold of some kind of marriage cert for John marrying to see if that can lead me to other things.

If you find this is one of yours, Mellicent was a SCHOFIELD and the family are on my website (see left)
