There was a Census in 1926, the first after 1911.  Times were unpropitious for a Census in 1921 !!

There is a bill currently before the Seanad which aims to have the 1926 Census released this year.  I don't know what the bill's prospects of success may be.

Hi Lisduggan, Yes you can get in touch with me and I would say that the grave of Bridget & Edward Wymberry are yours, as their son Edward was the only other Edward around that time, he married 1934, Margaret O'Connor, and lived at 86 Poleberry, Edward & Bridget lived at 15 High St. You could also write to Miss Emma Power, of St Joseph & Benildus Church Newtown, Waterford City, they have all burials of St Mary's of Ballygunner, but they charge a fee. Regards Jim

Hi Pat I went to the Register office to day to look up again the death of Patrick Fitzgerald, and found another two who died between 1881 and 1886, Patrick Fitzgerald, 1882, age 35, another age 37 all in the Top Hospital, >Work House, St Patrick's Hospital, the Patrick age 35 was from Cannon St, which I would say that is your Patrick born around 1945/8. can't find a Patrick born to a Michael Fitzgerald about time. The Patrick I had was born back in 1828, which is wrong as his age at Marriage was 28, Regards Jim
