Am Desprate can any one help? ??? :-[
Am Trying to find my Grand farther His Name was Charles Arthur Breed B 1909 East Wymer Norwich .He was married to Minnie Grace Howman B 1909 Tredegar Bedwelty County of Monmouth, they had a son Named David Trevor Breed in 1933 ref 46 122.
The last image that my farther David Breed remembers of his dad Charles, is him walking of from the school gate David was aged 7, sad know. :-[ :-[ :'(
But Davids Mother remarried a couple of years later to a Kennith Long, so they must have devoiced. I have search the BMD and cant find anything, no remarriage or death or kids, ??? ???
Which would make him in his late 90's, even if he is not alive I find it hard to believe that David Breed was his only child, or that he never remarried.
This is my last chance if, I cant find any record of him he's either been abducted by aliens Ha! Ha! ;) ;) Or immigrated can anyone help, any suggestions

A copy of his mothers marriage cert to Kenneth Long would show whether she was widowed or divorced at that time.

Hi Hazel,
I am tracking some Howman families (my wife's maiden name) and I came across your post.
I have been trying to work out where Minnie's grandfather George fits in, he appears to be possibly a son od Thomas and Elizabeth Howman at West Bromwich in the 1861 census, but his place of birth is shown as West Bromwich when his birth registration appears to have been in Norwich.
Do you have details of George's family?
I had found the likely marriage of Minnie to Charles A Breed, and the possible second marriage to Robert K Long, and then your post from a search on Minnie Grace Howman.

Minnie was the daughter of Arthur b 1885 Norwich and Maud Mary b 1880 Glamorgan
Arthur was the son of George b 1854 Norwich and Minnie Grace (surname) b 1855 Athlone Ireland (per 1891 census )
And that's were the trail runs cold without a birth cert
Births June qtr 1853

Hi Carole,
Thanks very much for your reply. I have that information and a lot more on the family, just trying to find out if they connect to my wife's Howman family or to other Howman families.
