Dear Chloed, Have you thought about joining the Wiltshire Family History Society? Below is a link to their site. They have a Member's Interests page and now everything has been transferred onto computer, you have to snail mail or email the person listed at the site.

Also, another brilliant site for Wiltshire ancestors is moonrakers and they have plenty of resources/links for Wiltshire genealogy in general:-

Good luck.
Regards,
Allycat, Australia. :)
PS My surnames in Wiltshire are ABRAMS, AMOR, KNEE, FORTUNE, WHEELER ... they came from Bromham, Bremhill, Chippenham and Pewsham.

Hi I am tracing the Skilton / Skellton lines of Wiltshire and I have a marriage between a Sarah Coster who married an Edward Skilton July 20th 1771 that took place in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
I believe that Edward Skilton is probably the father of Edward Skilton who married a Mary ? and had a son George Skilton about 1816 my 3x great grandfather.

Hello Chloed,
I have quite a few Dyke's in my tree living in Durnford from around 1760 till late 1800's. Starting with William Dyke born 1760, married Elizabeth Smart and had 7 children.
Does any of these names tie in with your family?
