Is anyone out there related to or descended from Charles Pressley and Margaret Moir who married in Lonmay in 1798? They had at least 3 children, Charles, John and Thomas. The eldest son, Charles, born in 1800, became a clergyman in Fraserburgh and died there in 1877.
As a descendant of the Pressleys, I would welcome contact.

Hi i am from Fraserburgh , but am not a Presley, but i knew Gene Pressely , his mum & dad owned the gun& sport shop down the town, my Mother used to clean there house for them Gene & i went to school together i believe his dad name was Jack a very good amateur golfer, so Gene would be approx 62yrs old, i know Gene,s son or Grandson named Steven Pressely plays football for Hearts & Scotland, I do believe Gene himself moved down south of Scotland, hence Steven playing for Hearts , sorry I'm not much help . Hi
Ever thought you might be a distant relative of Elvis Pressley. He is supposed to be a descendant of Pressleys from Lonmay!
Read about Jack's input here:

By the way, Gene died a few years ago, not sure of the whereabouts of his brother Jack.
Jack died in 2008:
PRESSLEY (Fraserburgh) Suddenly, after a short illness at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Sunday, February 3, 2008, John Pressley (Jack) golfer and musician, aged 92 years, 68 King Edward Street, Fraserburgh, beloved husband of the late Jean Pressley, father of Jack and the late Gene, father-in-law, granda and great-granda.

Yes I know, Jack searched the family tree to find a link between us and Elvis. Do you know my family buchanquine

I didn't know them personally but my husband did, Joan. 2 of his uncles worked in the bakery and one played in the band. I had met Jack and Jean a few times when my husband was talking to them.

buchanquine would you be OK with giving me your e-mail address I am coming up to the Broch shortly and I am sure my parents would be interested in talking to you.

Hi Joan
I'm afraid we don't really know a lot about the Pressleys apart from that which is general knowledge in town. My husband knew them as passing acquaintances but it was really his uncles who would have known the family better. He thinks that people who were neighbours for years would be more likely to have interesting reminiscences; also members of the golf club and Photographic Society. I do hope that, when you and your parents come to Fraserburgh, you'll be able to find out more.
Good luck

Thank you for your reply I have spoken to my Mum and there were several workers in the bakery so she does'nt know who the people might be who are your husbands relations.
