Let me know if you are researching.

A little late in the day to respond to you, but here goes.
I suggest that you check the Family Search web pages where you will find some information:
https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/K8JD-V2D
The Crane family appeared to be living in the Tannington & Cransford area of Suffolk between the 16th & 18th century. Charlotte Crane married Sylvanus Bridges a scion of the well known Bridges family of Framlingham.

vickyhouse2002 hasn't been active on here since 2017, so probably is a little late. :) Hopefully she still has the same email address and will receive notification of your post. If she need any further info, I'm sure like you there are lots of people willing to help!

I have an Elizabeth Crane who wed into my Mayhew family in Easton in Suffolk, a few miles from Cransford but not researched her family as she was only related to me by marriage.
I may be related to the famous Bridges family from Framlingham but not yet certain.

Ooooh, are we famous ;D
Happy to help, but we have only been in Fram since 1723.

I have recently found a Wickham Market connection with my Bridges, I need to visit the Lowestoft branch of the Suffolk RO soon to look at the names of the witnesses to the marriages.
Cransford, where Francis Crane was likely born, is in the Orford deanery and their registers have not yet been transcribed and indexed but you may find some on Ancestry or FindMyPast.
I typed Crane (with variants) and Cransford into the FindMyPast search engine 1760 (40 years either side) and just got a Samuel Crane who wed Eliz Crisp in 1762. No results for 1760 (40 years either side) for Crane's in Tannington.
