Hi Ruth
I have ancestors Frederick and Sarah Peel. Rev Frederick Peel born 21 Jul 1839 (Leeds) and Sarah Emily Glennerster born 8 eb 1844 (Bushey). They were married in 1863. He died in 1915. I have more details. Are these the Frederick and Sarah you are interested in?

Hi Paul,
Unfortunately they are not! Mine where in London and then Kent with Frederick Peel dying between 1871 and 1881 census when Sarah was listed as a widow. I applied for a marriage cert which was incorrect, so now will start all over again! at least i have one marriage I can rule out - where were they married? My fred Peel was b 1826 in Belper according to the 1871 census.
many thanks for replying.

Frederick Peel (son of Edward) and Sarah Emily Glennerster (daughter of Robert) were married at Manchester Cathedral 10 Oct 1863. Frederick originally came from Leeds and Sarah from Bushey near Watford.

Update: After years and years of searching i have discovered that the "Peel" children were in fact Hutleys and so I dont think there was a marriage for Sarah and Frederick Peel.
