Title: 1841 Census Wrexham - LLOYD
Post by: cttolancs on Wednesday 10 May 06 21:50 BST (UK)
Hello,
I read in previous postings that the 1841 Census for the Wrexham/Ruabon areas were destroyed or missing but that there is a census for the Town of Wrexham that is available.
If someone could look up a John LLOYD in the 1841 census I would be very grateful! The information I have is that he was the father of Mary Lloyd born 1820 and that his profession was "Smith" and that he was either born in or living in Wrexham (Wrecsam). I'm hoping to find out John's wife's name and whether he had any other children. His daughter Mary married John Roberts in 1844.
Thank you!

Im afraid I cant find any relevant info jumping out at me from the wrexham 1841 census to help you, (based on the info you have given).
How old would John Lloyd be in 1841?

Sadly the Wrexham area 1841 census has been lost.

The Clwyd FHS does have a copy of the Wrexham town census. Go to this page and scroll down to nearly the bottom:

Hello cttolancs,
Couldn't see a baptism for Mary in Wrexham or Ruabon in 1820.

I did find her marriage and childrens baptisms if you don't have them.
