Title: Birth/ Marriage look-up

Hi,

I am new to this site and apologise if I make a mess of this posting.

I am looking for the birth notice of Sophia McKee in 1873 in Belfast, and also her parents marriage notice, they were William McKee [? born 1853] and Helen Leckie [?].

Please help!!

Rivin,

you could try looking on www.ancestryireland.com. Its not cheap, costs £6 to view. there are quite a few marriages for, william Mckee on there. Or you could try www.familysearch.org, they have some records on northern Ireland.

This is an old post but new resources have come online since 2006.
The I.G. (www.familysearch.org) shows 5 children of William McKee and Ellen Leckie/Lackey.
1. son born 4 Feb.1864 Whitehouse district, Co.Antrim (page 302 in civil register)
2. Ellen born 12 Dec.1865 Whitehouse district (page 397 in civil register)
3. James born 14 Nov.1867 Co.Antrim
4. Joseph born 25 June 1869 Co.Antrim
5. Elizabeth born 24 Dec.1872 Ireland
